SPIRIT OF VILLEGGIATURA
For Arteana’s Spring/Summer 23 collection, I commemorate the Roman spirit of ‘villeggiatura’ – an ancient Italian concept referring to a long, leisurely stay in the pursuit of total rest and recreation when most wealthy Romans left the sweltering capital for breezier landscapes every summer.
